Stolen Truck 

Deputies were dispatched to RiceTec located at 15329 Hwy 1, Harrisburg, AR on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at approximately 0600 in regards to a report of a stolen vehicle.  Prior to that time owners at RiceTec had been informed that a white, 2010 Chevrolet Silverado belonging to the company had been recovered wrecked at John Brown Rd and Martin Luther King St in Wynne by the local police department.   RiceTec employees were able to confirm that someone had stolen the truck off of the lot and had rammed the front gate while exiting. 

Further investigation showed that the suspect had also appeared to have slept in a second vehicle on the lot prior to stealing the Silverado.  Both vehicles and scenes were processed by detectives in the criminal investigation division.  Poinsett County Sheriff Department continues to work with Wynne Police Department on the investigation.  Anyone with information in regards to this incident is encouraged to call Det.
