Search Warrant Executed on Old Military Lane in Harrisburg 

On March 9, 2018 at approximately 1:30 pm, the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office and the Harrisburg Police Department executed a Search Warrant at 7313 Old Military Lane in Harrisburg. During the search, meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, prescription pills, and over $1,200 dollars were seized at the residence. 

The following people were arrested and transported to the Poinsett County Detention Center to await a Probable Cause Hearing. Both were occupants of the residence. 

Parker Smith, 45, of Harrisburg is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) with the Purpose to Deliver (Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule IV – Prescription Pills, Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule VI – Marijuana, Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony). 

 Laura Smith, 39, of Harrisburg is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) with the Purpose to Deliver (Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule IV – Prescription Pills, Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule VI – Marijuana, Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony).
