Search Warrant Executed in Marked Tree 

On April 12, 2018 at approximately 11:30 pm, deputies from the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 215 11th Street in Marked Tree. 

Methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription pills without a prescription were seized from the residence.

The following people were arrested and transported to the Poinsett County Detention Center. 

Steven McCauley, 41, of Marked Tree, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), 3 Counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of a No Contact Order. A $125,000 bond was set by Judge Ron Hunter today. 

There was an active No Contact Order in place against McCauley that said he was to stay 100 yards away from 4 protective parties that live on 11th Street. All live within 100 yards of where McCauley was living.

Kara D. Gibbs, 41, of Marked Tree, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), 3 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Pills), and Aiding Consummation of Offense (Safeguarding McCauley). A $15,000 bond was set by Judge Ron Hunter today.
