**Update - 05/31/2018**

Judge Ron Hunter set a $1,000,000 cash only bond on Neal today. She is scheduled to appear in Poinsett County Circuit Court on July 31, 2018. Thermal Injuries was ruled the cause of death.

**Update - 05/30/2018**

Tyra Neal, 25, of Cash has been arrested for the death of an infant on Ritch Road. Neal is the mother of the infant. She is charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Abuse of a Corpse. A Probable Cause hearing will be held on 5/31/2018. More information will be released as it becomes available.

Sheriff Kevin Molder 

On May 29, 2018 at approximately 2:30 pm, Poinsett County dispatch received a call that an infant was possibly deceased at a residence on Ritch Road in the Pitts community. Medic One, members of the Weiner Fire and Rescue, investigators with the Poinsett County Sheriff's Office, and investigators with the Arkansas State Police responded to the scene. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time. The body is being sent to the Medical Examiner at the Arkansas Crime Lab for further examination.
