Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest 

On 7/26/18, drug investigators conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Hill Road. While approaching the car, investigators observed Jarod McCammon trying to place something in the back seat. 2 other individual were in the vehicle. 

A search of the vehicle was conducted, investigators found a silver colored case that contained one digital scale, five individually plastic baggies containing a crystalline substance, one plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance, two pipes, one orange colored pill, and one measuring spoon in the vehicle. Jarod McCammon admitted the controlled substance and drug paraphernalia was his. 

Jarod McCammon, 40, of Cherry Valley was charged with Possession of Meth with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver, and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Judge Ron Hunter set a $40,000 bond.
