Man Arrested for Rape 

On September 1, 2018, Shan Rich, 41, of Harrisburg was arrested for Rape. The charges are related to an open investigation that the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office, Harrisburg Police Department, and Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division are conducting. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time. No other information can be released at this time.

Rich was taken for a Probable Cause Hearing on September 3, 2018. Judge Ron Hunter set a $250,000 cash only bond. Rich is scheduled for his first appearance in Circuit Court (Plea and Arraignment) on October 29, 2018.
