(1/4/2021, Poinsett County, Arkansas)

At approximately 9:44 am, the Poinsett County Dispatch Center received a call that a plane had crashed in the Northwest quadrant of Poinsett County.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene. Emergency responders discovered a twin-engine plane in a field off of Flag Slough Lane.

We have contacted the FAA and NTSB. More information will be provided when it becomes available.

There have been two confirmed fatalities resulting from the plane crash.

The bodies have been sent to the Medical Examiners Office in Little Rock. The National Transportation Safety Board will be on the scene soon to investigate the crash.

The family and friends of those who perished in this crash are in our thoughts and prayers.

The pilot has been identified as Sean Wesley Stem, 52, of Jonesboro Arkansas. 

The passenger was Nickoles Lee Warren, 41, of Jonesboro Arkansas.
